Does anyone know of any good and free desktop recorders for Linux/Windows? I really want to record me playing FNAF and FNAC (Five Night's at Candy's) with good quality. (My Charlie the Unicorn and Vanilla Mocha Draws have terrible quality... And they don't record sound, no matter what I do to the settings. Idk, probably need to buy the pro version... But I know there's a free one with better quality out there somewhere.) Thanks guys. All input is appreciated.
I use OBS, and if you need help setting it up, we could do Google Hangouts or Skype screen share so I can show you. if you want to use it, of course. It's 100% free and can stream as well as record.
I have Bandicam and it's really good, but no idea if it's free
But I'm pretty sure Xsplit is free and can both broadcast and record

OBS would be your best bet. Bandicam has a free version (I believe), but it has a watermark on it. Xsplit I don't think is free, but I could be wrong.

3889398 No prob. Although, word of warning: Xsplit requires a certain graphics card to preform better. Using a different card is okay, but it's difficult to do. But who knows, maybe you'll have less troubles then I will.
And as far as Bandicam goes. . . I think it's free to a point, but I can't recall.

3889916 Hmm... Idk much about Windows 10. Maybe try launching it from a different place on your computer? (Such as from a search bar or menu). Idk if that'll do anything... I'm not very good with Windows. I use Linux.
