To all my old followers and viewers, I come to you with a heavy heart to say that I'm completely moving on from Fimfiction and starting new somewhere else. The reason being that I simply moved on from the MLP community; I have not stopped writing, so those of you who enjoyed my work for what it is and would like to see what else I make can follow me at Royal Road.
I don't even recall the last time I dusted off this profile. It's been a while. I came on today after cleaning out my email to see if I was still getting notifications from this site. To see that they're still people who are reading my work is heartwarming.
Been a year, I've been in hibernation. Yet when I come out I slam dunk back on...I dun get it. Why. I'm so happy, thanks everyone! You're the friggin super duper best!

It's hard, having been away from MLP for so long. I have to refresh myself on all the show characters 
The more I work on Last of My Kind, the more upset I get when I realize it should've been a Mature rating. 
There are many cases (including the new chapter) that are BORDERLINE clop or could at least lead into it, and I find me kicking myself. 
Then again. Something also tells me this is good because it allows me to see how much I can get away with.

Or you can do it like a few other authors do here - make a side-story which will have expanded-upon chapters which will have scenes that will definitely warrant the M rating, while keeping non-M rated scenes cut out (or modified so they still fit into the flow) in the current story.
But yeah, it's always good to see how far you can go

The rules actually allow you to create a second version of the story that is Mature-rated.
The downside is that you'd have to maintain two versions of the story.
From the rules:

The same story twice. This does not include variants of the same story where the two versions differ on a rating tag, such as a Teen version and a Mature version.
3869769 It sucks, because they made that rule right after I posted one of my stories, the second one being denied because it was the same story, but mature instead. Darn post-need rule adjustments.
But yeah, just make a side story for the clop stuff.

Why didn't you just resubmit the second story and point out the rules change?
3869571 3869733 I agree with pahnazd here - it's a nice system to have the mature side-chapters quarantined to a separate "story", so that those who do want their horse-words extra steamy can go to that section. Those who aren't interested can enjoy the main story without ever having to suffer through content they don't want to read.

Honestly... There are a few options, Keep M stuff to a separate Story and make sure to avoid major plot stuff in those chapters(Minor character stuff is fine), Change the rating and deal with the fallout or do what One story I read did and Have a second version of it that includes the M scenes.
Personally, with how the story has been and is going... I'd be Kind of excited to see how you did more mature content in relation to this tale. I have a strong feeling you would use it to add to your already brilliant Characters and Storytelling Rather than detract from it like some stories do.
