"—so I worked in day and night shifts, saving enough money to buy her the best models I could find. I even took the liberty and already added my number to her contact li—" Aaron suddenly stopped mid-sentence when he caught sight of his best friend in the whole wide worlds.
The two simply stared at each other, too amazed to form coherent thoughts. Five years apart was a long time to change, and boy did the two changed.
Aaron's hair was longer now, reaching almost to his shoulders. He was no longer the young sixteen year old lad anymore, instead he looked like a proper adult with a body to match.
Flurry Heart had also changed quite extensively. She supported more curves than her sixteen year old self, and even her bust seemed to take shape rather nicely. Once almost completely flat, now it was almost on par with her mother. Flurry Heart was a filly no longer, but instead a grown up mare.
"Candy buddy?" Aaron asked. Suddenly, his eyes sparkled as a wide smile tugged at his lips. "Holy Jesus it's you!"
"Aaron!"
The two ran up to each other and embraced one another once they met, laughing and giggling.
When they broke the hug Aaron had his hands around Flurry Heart's shoulders looking at her from a proper distance.
"My god, it really is you, wow! You look so different now," Aaron exclaimed, his light brown eyes shone with barely contained joy.
"You don’t exactly look the same either. I can't believe it's been five years already!"
"I know, there is so much I want to tell you!"
"Me too!"
"Then let's go already!"
Flurry Heart grabbed Aaron's hand and ran back to her room with Aaron in tow, leaving Shining Armor and Mr. Richards alone. Shining armor approached Mr. Richards, hands crossed as he stared at the door where the two young adults literally barreled their way out of, a small smile on his face.
"Aren't they simply adorable?" he asked.
Mr. Richards shrugged. "Yeah, deplorable— I mean adorable."
The story is set sixteen years after the events of 'The Filly and The Boy' making the duo 21 of age
Umm...
If it's set sixteen years later, when did they meet five years previously at 16? And why didn't we see that bit?
3846062 Just to set the record straight, they met every few years. The last time they met before the events of the sequel was when they were both sixteen. It will be properly explained in the story itself
