Pokken Tournament looks and and could possibly be the greatest fighting game of 2016, and considering Street Fighter 5 was such a massive letdown for me, this comment is saying a f**king lot, people. Seriously, if you all want a great fighting, either get Mortal Kombat X (if you're stupid enough to cough out loads of money for DLC fighters cough cough), or you can get this game and play as that awesome wrestling Pikachu!
Meh. Seems boring.
I was thinking about getting it, but my friend says the multiplayer is already chock full of spammers and it's just frustrating to play. Story is apparently okay, but when the multiplayer of a multiplayer fighting game is garbage, that kinda kills it for me.
Hopefully that evens out as people get better at the game, but until then I'm not dropping $50.
I enjoy it but I have only played it in local play with friends I don't know how it is on line and I'm not really a big pokiemon fan

Gonna be honest here folks; I was distracted by the flashy finishing moves.
I mean, Mewtwo literally kinda pulled a Frieza towards the end there.

3833175 Yeah haha, the finishing moves all look super cool from what I've seen. Mewtwo apparently blowing up like half the dang planet is really epic. And shadow mewtwo as a concept gives me hope that Nintendo hasn't given up on the shadow pokemon concept just yet.
I mean like it's probably never coming to another full game but I can dream okay...
3834247 I mean, the idea is pretty cool though. Pokemon battle anyway, so why not have a proper fighting game? It'd be cool if there were more pokemon to choose from, but considering HOW MANY F**KING POKEMON THERE ARE I can understand it'd be difficult to accomplish that sort of thing.
Also, there are some Pokemon that just wouldn't be able to do much. Like Koffing, or Grimer, or that Pokemon that literally looks like a set of keys on a chain.
But still, I like this idea. If we got more Pokemon to choose from, maybe some more Legendary Pokemon, I think this could become a very good series.
Also, has anyone ever thought of a Pokemon game where you could also level up your Trainer? Like, the more you battle, then not only your Pokemon gets EXP but your player does as well? And when your player levels up it improves stats that affect how well you catch certain Pokemon or your knowledge of particular move sets for different Pokemon and stuff?
I think that'd be awesome to have separate stats for the player's Trainer that can be improved to affect how you play the game. You could opt to run around faster, or improve your chances of catching rarer Pokemon slightly. You know, the little details.
