Panic and confusion reign supreme!

Finally, non extra-stylized foal, adorable, cute and yay Starlight is totally not a baddie.
Right, those are out of my system. Onto important things that are NOT spoilers.
No freight trains, that's cool, they are still being worked on.
And one of three things must be absolutely true:
Pony gestation periods are SUPER short
Ponies don't "show" while pregnant
Starlight has the WORST sense of direction ever
Some kind of crazy time-dilation has happened around Ponyville
Because somehow Cadance went from 'oh I just found out I was pregnant' to 'I haz a foal' in the time it took Starlight to find the library in Twilight's castle.

Twilight's castle has randomly-distributed time dilation fields. They've been trying to track down Starlight for months!
They suddenly retcon Sisters origin? Or new script writers just make a mistake? IIRC these two episodes wrote by two new scenarist. Maybe they just have trouble with MLP lore?
We already know it has to be (a) or (b) from the Cakes.
Although given ponies' complete lack of sexual organs, I'm tempted to go with (e) Ponies reproduce by gazing into a magic mirror together. The doctor is necessary to extract the foals from the mirror world.
