Here's what I thought of The Crystalling part 1 & 2: SPOILERS · 5:45pm Mar 26th, 2016
Part 1. A solid episode, but too much baby. Starlight still seems like a pretty pointless addition, just a less neurotic Twilight. Some good jokes, especially involving Spike and an exhausted Shining Armour, but not one I'll watch again for a while. Rating:***
Part 2: More of the same, really. I saw the ending with Starburst coming from a mile off. The best bits were courtesy of the Crystal Empire locals themselves, with their 'we're staying put no matter what' attitude. Starlight looks like she'll be staying for a while... *Sigh*. Oh well... Rating ***
In terms of two parters... Let's just say it was somewhere between the S3 and S2 openers in terms of quality.
Good to see the Crusader's Cutie Marks in the intro. And the next few episodes seem interesting. I still have high hopes for this season. And the show hasn't let me down yet... 
I think Flurry Heart should have been named, "Broken Heart". She destroyed the Crystal Heart!!
And if her mother and father are very protective of her growing up, she's going to be a heart breaker .
