As I hoped, I was both able to complete and cleanup up my latest work. Story #21, The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers, is a novel of over 50,000 words, and it stars Starlight Shimmer, with Sunset Shimmer in a major supporting role. Two other currently untagged guest stars appear later. I've posted the first of 28 chapters. Expect twists and turns, some romance, fire fights, lessons in friendship that are hard for Starlight to deny, and criminal activity as Starlight deals with her past and tries to find her future and discover her destiny. Until the show fills in more of Starlight's backstory, this novel will provide an edgy and way-too-probable questionable past to explain her behavior in all her appearances in season 5. Just thinking that this story could be her past really twists my mind. Watching Starlight Glimmer in her episodes, especially in the season 5 finale, gives me goosebumps.
So, Twilight Sparkle, you've chosen this mare to be your protégé?
As for how this will bear up after the Season 6 premiere, well... I have high hopes.
