I finished writing A Dream of Sunny Days · 11:39pm Feb 22nd, 2016
I just finished writing A Dream of Sunny Days. It's taken me around a year and a half to do it, but all the first drafts are finished. This doesn't mean that I'm done though, far from it. There are still a lot of chapters that have yet to go through my proofreaders. I'll probably end up rewriting parts of it. At the very least I'll have to fix things up. Still, the story is on paper.
Now, the first thing this means is that I can finally guarantee that the story will be complete, no matter what. In the event that something changes in my life and I'm no longer able to keep working on it, I will just publish everything. Obviously the quality would suffer, and I would only do it as a last resort. Still, if you have friends who didn't want to get started, fearing that the story might be abandoned, you can point them here.
For the immediate future, I will continue working on the chapters yet to be released. I'm also toying with the idea of reworking some of the early stuff. The first three chapters in particular could probably use some work. I might also work on other stories. I've been thinking more and more about trying to create my own universe and characters, move away from fanfiction.
Most of all, I'm just amazed that I wrote the entire thing. I considered giving up more than once, and it was certainly a bumpy ride. While I probably hit one of the biggest milestones, I still have a lot to do, and I'm looking forward to how you all react to the other chapters coming up. I really want to thank all of you who read the story and have supported me. Every comment means a lot to me, and I would have lost all motivation a long time ago if it weren't for them.
If you want to follow my progress, I keep track of it on my user page. I will try to do what I can to speed up chapter releases. Until then, don't hesitate to comment or leave me a message.
