About four-and-a-half years after joining the site, it looks like I'm finally about to hit 500 followers. Hey, everybody! How you doin'? Valentines Day treating you well? I hope so, sweetie pies. I hope so.
But that's not why I'm here tonight. Rather, on the morning before the end of Oroboro's massively popular fic Fractured Sunlight, which I've been editing for the last six months, I'd like to finally do something I've been meaning to do for a while: OPEN UP COMMISSIONS!

Fic Editing/Prereading
As some of you may know, I've edited and preread for quite a few authors on this site, including Oroboro, Present Perfect, Majin Syeekoh, and Craine. Majin Syeekoh has noted on many occasions that I have an extreme eye for detail, and when it comes to offering opinions on a story, I make sure to be as thorough as possible. Oroboro, for whom I've edited about 150k+ words, says nowadays that I am the editor by which he judges all other editors... and he has yet to find an editor as thorough as me.
So, what will hiring me set you back?
Basic Proofreading: $1/thousand words, rounded down until X700 words
This is just typos. I'll go through to point out misspelled words and punctuation errors. The most basic sort of editing.Copy Editing (proofreading + word choice, grammar, and syntax suggestions): $2.50/thousand words, rounded down until X700 words
Everything Basic Proofreading has and more! Here, I'll also help with word choice, grammar issues, and sentence/paragraph construction. When it comes to just editing, this is the highest level you can get.Line Editing (copy editing + characterization, plot, pacing, tone, and other suggestions): $5/thousand words, rounded down until X700 words
Everything the previous two levels had and even more! In this level, not only do you get editing, but you get prereading, too! This means I'll also be commenting on your characterization, your narrative voice, your plot, the pacing of your plot, and more. Essentially, if I see something that can be even slightly improved, I'll let you know and help you work on it. This is the complete mega-package. If you're looking for an EqD release or anything along those lines, this is the level you want.
Payment is handled over PayPal. I do not require payment in advance.
Let me also say now that these prices are pretty dang cheap—I've heard horror stories of editors charging a dollar per paragraph, and sometimes more. Note that if need be, you can also tell me how many words you wanted edited, so that you aren't charged any more than you want to be charged.

Fic Reading
A few months ago, I posted a reading I did of Horizon's Last Dreams of Pony Island, which you can find here:
This reading was extremely fun to produce. In a review of my reading, Present Perfect noted that he loved how I "got into" the reading, and did a "great job" representing the poetry through voice.
As of this writing, I hold six years of training/experience in public speaking and performance, which includes news broadcasting and poetry/prose performance. I serve as a head news anchor for WGSU, an FCC-regulated radio station, as well as a lead performer for the Geneseo Poets' Society, an organization that performs throughout New York State.
When it comes to fic readings, I have access to professional-grade recording equipment and on-demand access to a soundproof recording studio. I promise, I will do any wacky voices you ask me to. I will read SFW and NSFW fics.

I thought long and hard about whether or not to open up fic writing commissions, but unfortunately I don't think the time is right. I've got way too many fics of my own to work on already.

I just loved Fractured Sunlight so much it was like a whole new world opened up to me and I want to make something similiar to fractured sunlight and long road to friendship. And try to make a Sunlight story just as popular as these two stories. I don't have a lot of money at the moment but I'm about to get a part time job soon and I promise I'll pay you if you're willing to help me out . I am a new writter and I am despreate need of an editor . I have been talking to Albicorn who wrote long road to friendship to see if this was a good idea he found it intresting. And I want to see if this can actually be a good sunlight fanfic for I'll give you a summary of it by pm if it's okay with you cause I really want this to work well cause after reading those to sunlight fanfics I made it my goal to make a popular sunlight series myself .
