First off, if I promised to read your story and I still haven’t, I’m getting to it. I still have five stories left from those who asked, and I’m reading them in order of request, so bear with me.
Now, on to the real topic: a lot of people are asking me to hurry up and get to Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash’s sub-plot in Families, or to hurry and reveal Pinkie Pie’s backstory. Please do not do this. I will get to them when it’s best for the narrative. Yes, right now the story is mostly focusing on Spike and Twilight. That is intentional. They are the main focus right now. The others come later, and they will get their fair share, I promise.
Also, I’ve listened to the criticisms, the next chapter will be longer...hopefully.
As a final note, I’m going out of town for Labor Day weekend, so no new chapter that Monday. I’ll have Honeymoon posted instead.
However long it takes you to get there, I'll enjoy every minute of the ride!
Wait what's Honeymoon again? Also I have no problem with the format that Families has taken, TBH I kind of like it to be drawn out.
While I am one of the people who wants to see Scootaloo and Rainbow, as well as learn Pinkie's Horrible Truth, if you don't get there at your own pace it won't be any good. So people keep up the good work writing, and don't keep up waiting too long for the next chapter!

Dude, take your own time with your stories. Always write the way you want to write, don't give into the pressure of your fans if it goes against what your doing. That being said, I can't wait for the next chapter. Keep it up!
Patience is a virtue and good things come in their own time. People fail to realize that if they ask for rushed jobs, they're going to get poor quality and an angry author.
However, I'm loving the pace you've set because it does get us to come back and read this great piece of work! Have fun on Labor day weekend!

Good thing focusing on one plot at the time on each chapter, if you ask me. Just like you did in 'Post Nuptials'. Giefs more story to chew on each chapter

I've been loving every word of Families so far. The shift of attention is nicely paced from character set to character set; the pacing of it really helps keep every characters situation in mind without having to think back too terribly far
