I'm a little late with this, it has been the Year of the Monkey all week already. Oh, well. I also missed Quiz's birthday again (it was Tuesday. She had a white cake, lightly frosted).
I'm as ready as I ever will be to do my workshop at PonyCon this weekend. LINK I've rehearsed it enough (frankly, I think if anyone ever actually asks me "Where do you get your ideas?" I will shriek and run away. Or maybe I'll lecture them on the subject for an hour). I hope to see some of you, I know Blagdaross (looking forward to seeing you), and I hope more of you will make it to Brooklyn this weekend. I am terrified, and while I will have Quiz with me I still believe I shall need much moral support, hugs, and hand holding.
Chapter 18 of Basements of Doom nears completion, and I'm going out on a limb and announcing it will be published sometime next week. yay. I have the whole story in my head - finishing the story is just a matter of getting my writing discipline back (and how hard can that be?).
I am looking forward to the Year of the Monkey, and I hope you all are as well.
