October really rocked for me. I did not get one reading of my ghost story "Skittish" for Nightmare Night; I got two! Thank you, thank you, Neighrator Pony, thank you thank you, Zachmoviefan!!!
But it is no longer Nightmare Night. It's gotten into YouTube's algorithm, and I keep getting MLP Creepy Pastas suggested to me as "something you might like." This was cool for a while, but by mid-December this has gotten a bit old. Exacerbating this is that I have three Hearth's Warming stories being ignored (four if you include "Adventures In Cake Sitting" though, while it is Wintery, it's not specifically for Hearth's Warming; so let's call it three and a half stories).
I get that "Wonderful" is too long, and even "The Quality of Mercy" is a wee bit long for a quick read, but "Candy is Magic" is really short.
I actually do hate to whine. Not nearly as much as you all hate to hear me whine, probably, but I do hate to do it. Still, I'm like most fanfic writers, and all I want for Christmas is views. It would be nice for my seasonal stories to get a little more attention ("Skibbler, Senpai, please notice me.").
I should do a shout out here for my fellow writers. Well, I think you should click on Browse, reduce the search field to stories with "hearth's warming" in the description, then hit Search. You should read all the stories on the first page. This will make you happy. These stories are on the first page for a reason (there may, or may not be, a reason why I am halfway down page eight; but I digress).
