New Story!

Hello Everybody!

Northern Desert here just wanting to let all of you know that I have another story out! Yes, that's right, a whole new Displaced fic called Dis Place Needs A Star!. Unlike other fics, however, I plan for this one to break a few norms that the group has had. One such norm is the way a character is transported and more importantly, why they were Displaced. Another thing I'm looking to do with this story is break the trend of keeping a story alive through crossovers and the occasional randomness. This story shall have one adventure, one plot, and instead of focusing solely on the Displaced, it will take heavy time in the story of the Mane Six. (This doesn't mean Mettaton won't get the attention he deserves, but in order to make a great villain you need good heroes!)

Unlike the canon show, most challenges with the Mane Six happened in one place, a set if you will, and did not leave that set for the remainder of the episode. This is especially true for the villain, and it's usually the villain who's marching to the heroes and challenging them.

This will not be the case for this story, it will be an open world adventure with RPG inspired elements where the villain sits on his throne, maybe does this or that to halt the progression of the Mane Six, and acts as the 'final boss'.

Discord is also an interesting character that I feel is unexplored, often thrusted into a position of comedic humor to break the tension. This story will give Discord an actual motive that I think is believable coming from the original character.
