Something... 'Wicked'. · 11:18pm Jan 30th, 2016
So last night I took my three best friends to see 'Wicked'. It was my 'big' Christmas gift to all of them, and cost me quite a lot of cash. (I sprang for the good seats of course.)
As usual there were several mini disasters, stalled jeeps, cops, car searches, wardrobe malfunctions, etc. But KNOWING how my life works, both Steve and myself allotted nearly two hours extra for what we knew was going to eventually happen. We found our seats with 15 minutes to spare. (Suck on THAT Causality!).
And the evening was everything I could have hoped for. We all had a great time, and the show itself was amazing. It takes a LOT to make my jaw drop, but that last scene before intermission? DAAAAANG!
It took an extra month, but I got my selfish Christmas present to myself. A night out with my friends. This may not sound like a big deal, but with all of us working different schedules, such an occurrence is as rare as Haily's Comet.
Okay, on to story news. Readers will be happy to know that I have not one, not two, but three chapters of Sin Whinny. The first you'll note I just posted. The second will be ready after editiing, and the third is about half finished with the first draft. All will be posted as soon as they are ready.
