I've been asked to help promote an upcoming con which will be taking place somewhere in March of 2013... in Vegas, baby!

It seems quite professional to me, but they still have to hear back from a lot of people so it's not clear just who is going to be there yet. There's likewise still vender spots a plenty to be claimed, though, so if you want to set up a booth there... this is your chance!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to announce that Of Maids and Mistresses is, unfortunately, soon coming to an end. Or, well, at the very least it will be going on hiatus. I have some plans to lead it to a good ending point within the next chapter(s), and after that I want to focus on other projects for a while. It's not that I'm really growing tired of the story, but I don't want to drag it out too long, either. I've got a possible story sequence in my head that could carry it on for quite a few chapters to come, but I think I'll be leaving that for when I revisit the story. Or perhaps I'll update sporadically between other stories, we'll see.

So what's next? Well, I'll be going back to the Cheerilee's Garden continuum. I'll be writing a sequel that continues where Scarlet Harvest left off, but this time it will -not- be a gore story. It'll still be enormously grimdark though, so be prepared for that. Prior reading of CG and SH will not be required to follow the story, and I'll be putting it up as a separate submission. We will be following the rise of Celestia's Solar Empire and the resistance against it through the eyes of Celestia, Luna, Shining Armour and a host of other characters throughout the kingdom. I hope it will be enjoyable both to newcomers as well as veterans of the series, and perhaps certain developments within the story will help ease the pain of the broken hearts the ending of SH caused for some.
Or not. I can be a sadistic bastard like that at times, 'tis true.
When can you expect all this?
Last (few) chapter(s) of OM&M: Within the week.
First chapter of Of Dawn and Dusk (I like the Of X and Y titles, I may make it into my "thing"): Within a month, or two. I like to have at least 7 updates ready before I post the first one.
A sequel to Scarlet Harvest would make my freaking year.

I was going to wait until Of Maids and Mistresses was complete before reading it, but I suppose now is a good time as any to start (especially since I'm rarely on the Internet nowadays).
The gore in Cheerilee's Garden and Scarlet Harvest didn't impact me nearly as much as the sadness and despair.
For some reason I can't help but pity Fluttershy the most.
I still plan on naming those 0.4 children after you. Even if you do drop.
