In honor of Wilbur Scoville’s 151st birthday, we present Trixie’s Fire in the Blood, a story of our favorite showmare and her aspirations to be as Great and Powerful as the Carolina Reaper Pepper, which ranks over 1.5 million on the Scoville scale. (for comparison, most jalapeno peppers run about 8,000)

Now that all of her accomplishments have turned to dust, Trixie returns to her home in defeat.
