BCB2 has begun! · 9:54pm Jan 15th, 2016
Finally, finally, finally, after months of waiting, writing and anticipating -all added with a nice big pile of speculation- I can safely say that the writing of Blood Curse Boutique 2 has finally seen the light of day. With just over 60 chapters and a story that is hopefully equally as compelling and interesting as the first one, I hope I can live up to the first one.
Spoilers won't be made about the content as of yet, mostly because most of the drama and torment has been experienced in the first story. However, as stated at the end of the original tale, the story is far from over. Rarity's still alive, but so is the rest. And time, forces all our hands to make choices and promises. Choices we aren't always happy with and promises we can't always keep. Yet fate remains a harsh mistress and cruelty is at the top of her game. So allow me to show you all, the first two -unrefined, raw cut, unedited- paragraphs, just to set the mood of what's to come.
In the dead of night was it dragged across the forest floor. The constant, near inaudible growling of a beast could be heard echoing through the leaves. In the pale light of the moon was it revealed though. That goldish yellow coated pegasus wolf. The mouth was opened for just a moment and with a thud it fell to the ground. The lifeless body of a unicorn that had been viciously murdered. A clawed hoof was set against the belly and a dark howl was given off by the wolf. In the dead of night, it had claimed its prey and feast for the rest of it. Everything was right where it had to be, with the exception of one thing: a roof over its head.
The wolf glanced back and forth before it dug its talons even further into the fresh flesh. Only to then just drag it along the forest floor like that. With the mouth than finally free, the mumbles were made by it. Mumbles that couldn’t be believed. “Easy, now,” it spoke in a tone conflicted by shyness and primal instinct. A deep sigh was then released through the nostrils. The eyes glanced up to the moon before a wolfish grin was then given. The cloudless night had done the wolf good, it had done her good. Everything just went the way that it was supposed to be. Everything had gone the way the wolf had predicted to have gone.
That is just the start of what's to come. I hope to be done writing the story around April or May and have it edited all by June/July and either just before Galacon 2016 or just after that, I will publish the very first chapters online. Patience is required, as it does with all my works. But it just feels good to write about ponies again! Nearly a year without writing about our beloved little ponies has made me weary I wouldn't be able to do this. I dare to say I succeeded with flying colors, for now.
Still wondering about a possible title though, I have one right now which is probably the one I will keep sticking with to the end.
Yes!
Now I just need to re-read BCB to past the time while I wait.
