    Izzy Moonbow: Fifth Edition Dungeoneers

It's time for Numero Tres in this series, and boy howdy is it going to be a wacky one. To tag or not to tag · 4:00pm Jan 14th, 2016

Recently I wrote a fic entitled A Touch Of Evil. I decided to give it the following tags: Gore, Dark, Drama, Slice of Life, Equestria Girls.

It's been suggested that I swap out the Slice of Life for Adventure and just flat out drop the Dark tag. What are your thoughts on this?

There are both dark and adventurous elements in the flashbacks. Still, it's one of those stories that demonstrates how the Slice of Life and Adventure tags can coexist. I say use your best judgement.

I think if you wanted to change it, I'd keep the dark tag but change slice-of-life to adventure. Though what's actually happening is rather slice of life for the most part, the flashbacks are very much an adventure story, and the story seems to draw most of its weight from those sections.

I personally think it's fine the way it is, but if you felt the need to change it, keeping the dark and adding adventure seems like the best choice to me.
