its one thing I dont like about most shows, in order to put out more content they like to pretend things didnt happen, events in history or power not being gained, or even lessons being forgotten. Many shows will have someone being a long time friend to another person and just like with the pinkie episode where she goes crazy thinking her friends abandoned her. Really any normal friend would suspect another motive seeing that they would have faith in their friends and whatever it is, its a misunderstanding.
but no.... that would ruin the flow of new content and restrict future projects. So its all just a load of crap they plop down for quick and easy episodes
