I made things you might like to see! · 8:42pm Jan 12th, 2016
I don't know how many of you remember, but I think I mentioned somewhere I'd do art for this once in a while.
Or maybe I didn't and I'm imagining that.
EITHER WAY! Here's some stuff I drew recently. (Sorry about the picture quality, I had to use my phone.)
I drew the Hush here. Seriously my favorite boss. It says "You were born wrong.", which is a phrase the Fortune machine can say when used.
And yes, it will eventually make an appearance.
I made this one before the one above. It's a sort of sketchy landscape view of The Crystal Empire. It is relevant to the story. I won't say more than that, but feel free to talk about it below.
These were both done in maybe a total time of 3~4 hours, on and off. No guide or reference.
I've been working in exclusively Pen/ink on these, and any tips or advice would be much appreciated!
Do you know what Hush symbolizes in the game? I have tried but I could never come up with something good. Nice drawings btw.
3681844 I'd offer my thoughts on it but I don't want to spoil anything in the story.
Thanks though!
The Empire. Isaac. His footprint trail.
The way these three are aligned is... ominous.
Oh yeah, we'll have some Hush action! But I have to say that if you don't include Ultra Greed in the future (near or far, doesn't matter), I'll be slightly upset.
3685276 Ultra Greed is a difficult Boss to compare. Greed is such a rarely prevalent theme between Isaac and the show. Isaac being as humble (and self deprecating) as he is, and the most greed the show portraying being Spike (who has since learned a lesson) makes it difficult to find a point of integration.
Spoiler? Not entirely sure.
I'm not sure if anyone has observed this, as there has only been one boss so far, but Bosses would appear that are relevant to the matter at hand. Isaac, in chapter four, was believing he was in a new prison, and still the prey of monsters, however different. Monstro is one of the most Iconic and well known bosses, and is quite familiar, like Isaac sees the situation.
Thank you for the compliments though, much appreciated.
I just realized that the following song is incredibly relevant and fitting for TBoI:R and TBoI:A.
3756728 I... I'm speechless.
That's an excellent parallel to the story of Isaac. Thank you for showing this to me, sincerely!
