Update 1/11/16 · 8:58pm Jan 11th, 2016
Good afternoon everyone!
Back to school for me... blaaaaargh. At least today is a good day. This also marks my first 2016 blog post, so yay!
To start off with, I'm very excited to announce that I'm going to be one of many fans to preorder Anzel's story Memoirs of a Royal Guard as a hardcover book! If you guys are interested in reading the story, or already have and would like to have a copy of your own, I would suggest visiting his profile and taking a look at his most recent blog post! I am very excited to order the book as the story is one of my personal favorites.
Apart from that, I've got a couple of updates to share with you all this fine, but cold afternoon.
I am happy to report that production on chapter 26 of Millennia: Beginning is well underway. I hope to finish it this week while school isn't nearly as busy as it will be and bring the story's word count up above 90K words, and possibly beat my current longest story Under the Moonlight already, which holds the record at 91,903 words! But not only that, and I don't mean to spoil some things, but in chapter 27, there will be a huge plot twist. I refuse to say what, and those of you reading will just have to find out when that chapter comes around.
I'm also working on the finishing touches of other ideas I've gathered for the remainder of the story, which after this coming chapter will be 14 left to go, 15 including the epilogue, unless I decide to make chapter 40 the actual epilogue itself. Yes, this story will be 40 chapters long. There is still a lot left to go. Here's to finishing the story completely by April! Can I do it? I believe so.
As for my other stories, such as Before the Dawn, I still have not put any work into them sadly. It seems as if Millennia has become my primary focus for the time being. Don't worry though, I'll eventually get to work on it, because I do have an idea to conclude the story properly this time!
Sadly though, I'm afraid I still have yet to decide on when I will publish the sequel to The Veins Run Deep. At this rate I expect it to actually be released in February or March, depending if I do end up finishing Before the Dawn and resuming progress on Rise of Shadow Force by then.
One other thought I've had in mind for a short while however, is there is always the possibility that I should prepare the prologue and the two chapters that follow to start off the sequel and have it published to FIMFiction on the exact date and two-year anniversary of the release of The Veins Run Deep, June 1st. Should I do it to keep the charm and allow for me to get work done on my current stories, or go for an earlier release date? That's up to you guys!
