Tyrant now with Cover art. · 2:30pm Jan 3rd, 2016

I've been a fan of the Ink Potts sisters since seeing their fantastic animatics on youtube, especially these two.

So when I saw that the artist half of the duo, Silhouette was doing commissions, I used the chance to grab a spot to get a cover for The Tyrant of Fear and Hate. If you have money to spare, I encourage you to ask her for commission (though there are not many spots left), or if you wish to support them both you can do so on Patreon as well.

Better look at the cover after the break

Okay, Askre, now you've done it! You've made me a fan of them, too. And this cover for The Tyrant of Fear and Hate...another winner, but I still love Possession's cover the best.

3665290 Hehe, glad you're liking them too, those two are a great team. Can barely wait for their next Count of Monte Cristo video :pinkiehappy:

I like both my covers equally, because they both far exceed what I had in mind. This one especially was just supposed to be Sombra staring at the camera, looking sinister and ready to unleash his power. I never expected to get this "You? You're screwed!" expression and such a combination of sadistic and smug :pinkiegasp: Really fits well with how I'm writing Sombra in the story.

It's been such a blast finally writing Sombra, (have had story ideas with him for well over two years by now), he's exactly the type of villain I like writing the most.

I can imagine how jumping around happy you were to see them. They are both amazetastic...I just happen to have a softer spot for SombraShy stuff that makes me squee just a tick more at seeing Evehly's portrayals of him and thanks TO YOU, I discovered she has an account here on FIMFic and got to read another awesome Sombra story!

And because of this new cover art, dammit, I HAVE to read your story because, well, of Sombra and "you're screwed expression" reasons, LOL!

Sombra is SO AMAZING to write about...you can take him in a million different directions - almost none of them wrong. The evil is a pure blast to write, the redemptive a challenge (and sometimes hilarious!), the softer side hard to find, but worth it. I got a great compliment here the other day when someone said I write his softer side really well. I guess it isn't all that easy 'cause he keeps it so under wraps. And the more evil tricks I see writers pulling out of his crown to mess ponies up with gives me more ideas on how to make him simply AWFUL CREEPY AS HELL in one of the pieces I'm working on right now. SQUEE! this much fun should be ILLEGAL!
