King of Beggars

One of these days we'll form a union, and get the fair and equitable treatment we deserve. Then we'll go too far, and become corrupt and shiftless, and the Japonies will eat us alive.

Santa's Little Horser · 2:01am Dec 25th, 2015

Greetings, fellow horse awassailants! King of Beggars here with the yuletidings!

I'm coming to you live from scenic My Grandparents' Living Room! Everyone's at church, and I conned them all into letting me skip out by suggesting that I play Santa Claus while they sit perfectly still, then get on their knees, then sit some more, then stand, then sit, then stand again. My cleverness is rivaled only by my chances of burning in Hell! I've eaten all the cookies, and I'm going to read horse-smut until they get home, in celebration of big J's birthday.

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you all that I hope you're having a great holiday, no matter what you celebrate. Enjoy your families, your golden-overtime at work, your friends -- everything that life has given you as we near the end of the year. Take what's fallen into your lap and hold it close to your heart.

And for those of you without your friends and family, or without the friends and family that you want: I know sometimes this season -- festooned as it is in traditional red, white, and green -- can get a little blue for some of us, but try to think of what you do have, and if it's too hard to be happy, then try to be content.

Have a Merry Holidays, a Happy Christmas, and a solemn, dignified Hanukkah. I hope you'll all join me again next yule season when I finally write my magnum opus -- a tale about Celestia bringing meaty-treats to all the good little boys and girls in Equestria. I call it Meatswarming.

Please be excited.

P.S. The surprise didn't make it for Christmas, because of family obligation, but I am super hard at work for you, and expect a lot to read in the very near future.

Happy Yule to you too, have you burned any trees?
I haven't but my family probably has already.

You had to trick your family into not going to church? I just flat out told mine that I'm not going.

As much as I love the holidays and hanging out with the family, I'm not going to spend two and a half hours doing aerobic squats in a hot crowded room while listening to small children sing Latin in the background.:twilightangry2:

I haven't gone to church in 15 years. To be honest I've been stuck in a somewhat religious rut so to speak. Everyone in my family is catholic but I can't help but feel that it has failed to do anything for me. I've actually recently found some solace in Pagan traditions.

So with that being said (and while I know it's a few days late), Happy Winter Solstice everybody!

I love me some bonus multipliers at the old sweat shop I love the time spent with family I have in the area this time of year. Now do your civic duty and sweep the house for any of last year's candy canes and eat them for the greater good.

yaaaaaaaay~ :twilightsheepish:
