Charity Story Finished · 6:39pm Dec 20th, 2015
Thank you, first and foremost, to everyone who donated. It was a pleasure to write, and I touched on a myriad of themes and things I haven't tried before.
There may be one or two people out there who didn't get their suggestions to me in time. Please contact me if possible so we can work something out. I would still like to do something in return for your generosity.
Speaking of which, there are a few goals I touched with this charity event, and I will be doing a few rewards, so to speak, in January. Times are very strained for me right now - although the good news is my immigration stuff is moving forwards, so I'll, you know, be able to go home soon, where I will... have a home, and food, and comforts, and clothing... - but I hope to get those done as soon as possible.
There's still time to donate to Oxfam here for the Tournament of Canterlot, if you haven't yet! There are lots of reasons you could do so but I won't get into them for the millionth time, just. Go donate if you've been thinking about it. No, I don't get any money at all from it.
My personal goal is to get a thousand dollars donated by the end of the Tournament of Canterlot. I'm only a hundred and some away from that goal.
Those who donate will be automatically entered in a drawing for a doodle by me and an autographed copy of my book. I am now going to add that the largest donation from here until the end of the month will get the first half of Hecate's Orphanage to read once that first half is finished. I am hoping to get back to work on it as soon as possible, since I'll be settled in to a nice place for January.
The first half looks like 500K words, for those interested. So that should keep anyone busy for a while. Yes, Hecate's Orphanage is going to be as long as Glory Be at this rate, if not longer.
Thanks very much, everyone.

Another million-word story? My word, Raven! I eagerly await the release!
A million words in total? Ive asked before and I'll ask again, where do you find the time to write that much?

Honestly, if things weren't so crazy, it would probably be done by now. It really should be done by now, and I'm very eager to get back to it.
But the whole. Having no social life thing certainly helps. And generally writing is what soothes me and makes me less crazy. So you know, kind of important for me to do so much of that every day anyway.
