December has finally arrived and school is almost done. For those of who who remember my last blog from so long ago this means I'm going to be working on chapters again. I don't want this story to die for a number of reasons, one of them being that it's the only purely original story I've thought up. On that note, I want to share some ideas with you guys regarding chapter releases.
I've given it some thought and I think I'm going to release short chapters, but in numerous bursts. This will allow me to better outline Spark's life while still getting content out to you guys. As Spark's life progress the chapters will become larger. Some chapters will also be naturally larger than others depending on the topic.
So yeah, that's what I have planned. Just wanted to write this blog to let you guys know of my plans.

Though I suppose if you produce new chapters....then that will be at least proof that there is enough of your former essence or possibility of being alive. Until then I shall wait and be watching you VERY carefully, you who could very well be an unliving monster/abomination!! =P

The shorter chapters could work. If you have something planned for when he's older then we would be able to see his life without having to do a major timeskip.
Spark Plug is a genius and seems to focus on technology. His name reminds me of Dr. Frankenstein so maybe in he could eventually expand into other sciences, the same way Twilight studies different schools of magic. I think he would have to, especially chemistry if he's going to create the materials for more advanced machines.
I don't know what your planning but I really want to know how things escalated so quickly on the first day of school.
What timeline is this anyway? Would he meet any of the characters from the show?

3596948 The timeline is something I'm still unsure about. Thankfully, since this story is going to be mostly OC, I don't actually have to make a decision right away. I have thought about it to some extent though. Instead of looking at this world from a timeline perspective, I'm looking at it from an age perspective. The reason for this is because Twilight will most likely appear in this story, but won't play a major role. Because of this, her age is more important than her most recent achievement, as her age will determine how she speaks to Spark. Twilight is not one to bring up her accomplishments unless they are directly brought up or demeaned in some way.
Let's say Twilight was ~20 years old when she defeated Nightmare Moon. I would either want to make Spark 15 when this event occurs or ~27. Depending on which path I take it could drastically change the course of the story and how Twilight Sparkle perceives Spark Plug.
