Hey there everyone, I know this is probably a surprise after my long, and sudden, hiatus.
So yeah... I'm still here, and I want to apologize for not updating the story in such a long time. I think I said it would only take a week to get out, right? And yet here we are nine months later and I got nothing to show for it.
So I'll be honest with you guys, I had a few problems. For starters I needed to find a job and it was getting to the point where most of the days was spent searching for something. I eventually found something and its full time working night shift so most of the time after that writing wasn't even on my mind. And to top it off... I was getting a tad bored of writing for this story. Now, I never stopped thinking about it, but I couldn't just work up the effort to continue for a bit. I'm the kinda person who has trouble staying focused on one thing for a long time. If I'm being honest I was amazed I kept semi-constant updates for so long before this hiatus. There are still other ideas I have and I'd love to work on them. Hell, I have an awesome idea for an Undertale story that I'm almost confident no one has written yet. I even wrote out the first few chapters in pen. Of course that would be uploaded to FanFiction since there would be no ponies included (so sorry[not really]).
of course you don't care about that, what you want to know about is when the next chapter is coming out. And, I'm happy to say, it'll probably be out in a couple of weeks. Since my job is at night I only have time during the day to write, and since I now sleep during the day my free time is on weekends. The nice part about this is sometimes I can actually work on the story by hand during work hours. Then all I have to do is simply copy my notes to the computer and bam, new chapter. I finally have the Canterlot Wedding Arc thought out and now I just have to write it down.
So yeah, a couple of weeks at least before the next chapter. If it makes anyone feel better though I have the next 100,000 words already typed and ready to be published after that. Hell yeah, Gilgamesh crossover is just about done. Just need to work with shinigamisparda and finish it up.
All in all I haven't quite given up and the story is by no means "dead" as some of you have asked. Thanks for all the love and support and I'll be sure to get the next few chapters up as soon as possible!

All this time and no word, I was wanting to gush about the FE: Gaiden remake to. (I seriously hope they do Doma right.)
Most of us are used to long waits on stories, so don't sweat it. Though it'l still be prety good having Awakening back
4481845 And indeed it is back. I'll probably still work on that Undertale fic but it won't be a priority. I just... c'mon, it's Undertale, it's too good not to write about it.
4481939 Yeah I'm doing a crossover with Gilgamesh. It's not quite done yet but it's close. Not sure where in the story on his end it comes into place but for me the story starts in three chapters.
