I mentioned earlier that I was moving to take up a new job, and truth be told, I had about a week and a half that was really easy. I used to to learn the area, get over jetlag, practice the new language. I sat down and actually pinned part of a script for Pony In A Box. So, if you're fans of my work, put them on watch. I'll have an episode down the line, and then a lot more than just an episode. Anyways, I did the script for a warm up (dialog is easy for me to generate), and sat down to pen notes on the next chapter
Weeeeeellll, the business was in a bit of a manpower crisis, so as soon as everyone returned from summer vacation, I was sort of thrust into a crazy situation which involved a lot of on-the-fly training, a ton of performance pressure, and a need to absorb about 20 gigatons of information while using it the same day. In short .... See current mood.
I'd also like to state that my on going story Paradise is still not forgotten, and will never be. When I find my groove here, I think the job looks very promising for letting me work. Just ... bear with me a bit. I'll be making new Paradise as soon as the world stops appearing to be in fractal. I'm actually a little disappointed I had to take such a long break here. Chapter 15 and 16 were originally one chapter so I don't like breaking them up for so long.
Anyways, stay tuned. Same pony time, same pony channel.

I have had that lovely experience before. It certainly gets you up to speed quickly as long as you don't crash into the side of a mountain.

Mmm, deffinitely. Same way throwing a car off a cliff will get it up to speed fast. Though, it'd be one thing if it were like me sitting at a computer, learning a program. There is a performance pressure as I'm literally performing to entertain people ... well kids really, over stuff I've only have learned and need to improvise on the fly. It's very stressful when I can't prepare all the way.

Good luck with the new job. As always, Paradise is something worth waiting for. It is, and remains a really wonderful story and among my all time favourites.
