    Bookish Delight (FINAL)

    (sort of)

    Hey, folks. This thing on?

So I was originally trying to write this big essay blogpost about where I've been and the future of Bookish and all that, but... it didn't pan out. So we'll do the much, much shorter version that should still tell you what's important.

    WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Did you think it was over

...yeah, that's fair, so did I. Still need to talk about that when I'm able. Until then...

    ELa Famille Royale
The Zephyr Heights royals just helped change the world. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they've done so, and they'll have to answer for that... just as soon as they work on themselves.

    Question For the Crowd!

What, in your opinion, are Equestria's most significant locations? (i.e. Canterlot, Cloudsdale, etc.)

Please keep it to... oh, top 7, and excluding Ponyville/the Everfree Forest.

Thanks to all who answer!

Starting The Year Off Right With A Lack Of Light · 4:16am Nov 18th, 2015

(Wow, I totally forgot to do the blog thing for this. :twilightblush:)

Hey all! Bookish Delight Year Six is upon us! I promise it'll only get better from here--we haven't even gotten to the 5th Anniversary bash yet. :raritywink: But for now:

"Well, then, that makes five class periods and five of the same answer," Indigo said. "So it's unanimous? She really is happy there?"

The girls nodded soberly, looking down at their empty milkshake glasses.

"She never smiled with us," Lemon said.

"That's because with us," Sugarcoat countered, "she never had a reason to."

Sour scoffed. "When I saw her in math today, you couldn't have paid her to stop smiling."

"Yeah, same for gym," Indigo said, resting her head in her hands. "Even with her failing up and down the court." Indigo sighed, and looked down thoughtfully. "But she's smiling now. And that's all that matters."

The Shadowbolts embark on a mission of mercy.

If you were left wanting for Crystal Prep characterization in Friendship Games, your ship has come in! Go check it out and stuff. Because this is only the beginning. :raritystarry:

Read this. It's good.

Does that mean you want to write more in the continuity of 'Better Late Than Never'? I hope so, because I like your characterisation of the Shadowbolts already. I'm particularly interested to delve more into the rivalry between Twilight and Sugarcoat as well as Cadance's desire to make Crystal Prep a nicer place (mirror of pony!Cadance's role with the Crystal Empire, of course).

Who says I haven't already? :raritywink:

You can expect the full review soon enough (like, end-of-the-weekend-at-the-latest-so-help-me-god soon enough), but I did at least want to say: this was good stuff. You know your voices, and your dynamics, and how to let each feed into the other, and this 'fic is almost like the personification of those strengths. Good, good stuff. <3
