    Upped to Mature

The patron requested it, so Blue Wedding Belles is now rated Mature, and will proceed under that banner. Figured I should post an alert about that.

NaNoWriMo · 11:34pm Nov 5th, 2015

Did you know I'm participating in NaNoWriMo? This fantastic contest is what helped me work up my typing speed to the prodigious rate it's reached today!

This year's novel: https://www.fimfiction.net/story/297200/ponyfinder-roots-of-stone

Read, enjoy! It's promised at least 50k characters by the end of the month, but I'll probably do much more than that. There's no rule saying you can't keep on writing.

It has Maud, and Tree Hugger! What more could anypony want? They're great. The story's shaping up great. I hope to see you there.

I have found that I basically can't participate at the moment. I don't have the kind of focus to type out a thousand+ words a day with a full-time job. I probably couldn't do it if I had no job at all, even, but then I'd give it a go.

Right now my set pace is 1/7th that. I do a thousand words a week, not a day.

I'm sure I could do better, because I've hit the 1k words a day before but... well most of the time I can't. I just can't turn off that little anxiety engine telling me I need to do better, or I don't know what I'm doing and what I've already done is bad.

3523450 That is exactly what I struggled against when I did my first NaNo, and worked up to the horrible engine of typo production we have today!

Yay!

Enjoy the story at least :)

And this month I've already decided to write the fic I AM writing... the idea that I might be able to churn out 1k words a day for is not one I'm doing.

Not that, I guess, I can't decide to do that one a later month when I have more time.

I'll do my best to enjoy it! Good luck.

3523518 Good luck with the fic!
