    My mother-father just died. RIP.

    Cross-posted from Discord.

@everyone My maternal & last grandfather just died.

He's been sick with pneumonia, so not fully unexpected, but still quite the shock since he seemed to be on the mend. Some sort of freakin' slip-up with the meds due to the holidays, so he got this brutal backswing his systems just couldn't weather until the hospital could fix it a second time.

    New offical game incoming!

My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery.

Another studio this time, but seems like the same engine and stuff due to being the same publisher?

Honestly looks promising. Baby's First Platformer 2.0, but still, did genuinely enjoy my time with the first game.

    Happy Scew The Mouse Day!

That's right! Steamboat Willie hit public domain today! And in the states, too!

So be sure to draw or depict Mickey, Girl Mickey, & Black Pete exactly as in that first cartoon, except the huge~ c:yay:cks you designed to be ~exotic~ or whatever, and those rabid jerks at Disney can only grit their teeth now!

    Ghost Master, free on GOG

A must play if you like movies like Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice or The Freighteners.

It's always been a bit rough around the edges, and that's worsened a bit further with time... But credit where it's due: To this day, no other game quite like it.

Happy Halloween! · 12:56pm Oct 31st, 2015

Had planned a story for this year, but alas, my muse is just so entrenched with Dark Horse right now nothing came of it. Maybe next year.

Still, I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween! :yay:

Well, mine was certainly safe, but also distinctly ignored. There was a bit of a fad of celebrating it here for a few years, but it seems to have mostly died off again. I didn't even notice any stores carrying gaudy decorations this year.

More or less the same here.

Halloween's ever so slowly starting to be a thing in the big cities here in Sweden, but out here in the sticks where I live the somber and utterly boring All Saints' Day still reigns snoozing supreme. :ajsleepy:

Never liked or understood that holiday myself. If you're ancestors really were such boring little gloom spreaders that they'd demand to be solemnly remembered once I year due to social contract, I'm not seeing why they deserve that remembrance in the first place. :unsuresweetie:

Eh, it's all the same to me, anyway. It's not like I need an excuse to dress up and get pissing drunk. I do live in a college town, after all. Still, though, it never really took ground here - we already have Fasching and Karneval for that, which are pretty massive and week-long deals in their own right, so I suppose as a festivity it's just kind of redundant.
