cleverpun's Fic Graveyard

I have occasionally heard people assert that I am a good writer. This assertion is not very accurate, but I have enough of an ego not to correct it, most of the time.

I think one explanation for my seeming competence/adequacy is that I am a selective writer. When I write something that is bad, I have enough sense to either immediately shelve it, or post it on an alt.

Today, I present (almost) every fanfiction story idea I’ve ever had. Part of my creative process involves explaining my ideas to others, to help myself articulate it. What better way to present a hypothetical story (without actually communicating with people) than to make a story page for it?

For your perusal, this is cleverpun’s fic graveyard. Some of these (and some unlisted ones) will probably make it into my scraps at some point, if only for the archival value.

I've been meaning to do something like this, but if I tried to list all the story ideas I've ever had, we'd be here a while. I'm also thinking of doing the same thing for all my old fics that I haven't updated in 2 1/2 years... just share what my plans were for the story and call them cancelled. But I suppose I'm ever the optimist: I still think I'm gonna finish them someday.
