Heya Dan and Pinkie faithful,
First of all, if you’ve PMed me with a question or something and I haven’t gotten back to you, I apologize. I’m just juggling a busy schedule on top of writing and it sometimes takes me a while to get to letters.
On that note, someone asked me all the music I’ve used on The Wheel & The Butterfly. I’m gonna try to go through the fic to refresh my memory, but I might miss some. I’ll throw in a few songs I’ve yet to use as character themes. Feel free to chime in with your own ideas.
Coldplay – Paradise: Playing on Dan’s CD player at the end of part 2 because Chris brought over the CD (Dan hates the song and Chris for making him listen to it).
Queen – Best Friend: Dan plays a tape when he and Pinkie are in his car after an “evacuation” drill.
Flogging Molly – Devil’s Dance Floor: Sunset Shimmer and Flash’s song during the skating competition. I consider this Sunset’s theme.
Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now: Pinkie and Chris’s song during the skating competition.
The Mowgli’s – Great Divide: Pinkie and Dan go on a road trip to settle the score with Idaho.
The Proclaimers – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles): “Montage” song of Dan working at the bakery with Pinkie and saving up for her birthday present.
Foo Fighters – Everlong (Acrostic) : Dan and Pinkie get their romance on.
Andrew W.K. – Party Hard!: The crew Vs. Terri-Man!
Smashing Pumpkins – Bullet with Butterfly Wings: Dan, Pinkie, Ninja Dave, Becky, and Mr. Mumbles go all Hellsing on some vampires.
Electrasy – Cosmic Castaway: Unused song because of timing issues. Dan & Pinkie in the Nexus.
The Offspring: Come Out Swinging: Dan Vs. Tok
Scissor Sisters – I Can’t Decide: Dan and Pinkie’s ringtone for one another.
Mindless Self Indulgence – Shut Me Up: Dan bakes the hell outa some pies.
Sofia Orchestra & Vassil Kazandjiev – “Comedian” Galop: Everyone running for their lives from a hoard of Pinkie clones.
The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army: Dan prepares for war (I basically consider this Dan’s theme).
Stealers Wheel – Stuck In The Middle With You: Ever watch Reservoir Dogs? That… plus a fight with a werewolf.
Andrew W.K. – Get Ready To Die: Pinkie and Dan* face off.
Tomoyasu Hotei: Battle Without Honor or Humanity: I don’t think I actually did anything with the song, but I could totally see Elise and Aria trying to kill each other to this.

Fitz And The Tantrums – The Walker: Pinkie’s theme and also the them to Dan & Pinkie Take a Slice Out of Life.
