They Say Bad Luck Comes In Cycles · 6:31pm Oct 26th, 2015
Well, long story short, I've had about six years of bad luck so I am hoping that I will get some good luck coming to be soon to even things out. I have a long complicated story that probably no one would ever believe. Seriously, it could be a movie. I won't share it because I don't want to be known as the resident emo of the site or something. Besides, I feel rather optimistic that things in my life will turn around soon.
To make things short, I grew up in an abusive household, when I left the household everyone on my mom side of the family and step dad's side of the family disowned both my mom and I for leaving. So my mom is the only real family I have left. Since then my mom and I have been running to escape my crazy step dad. I have a biological father who wants nothing to do with me. And most of the relatives related to his side of the family want nothing to do with me either because I'm 'weird' and 'different'.
I happen to have some affinity for the paranormal. You can take that to mean what you will. Anyway, it is something that has isolated me from a lot of people in my life and made it hard for me to have any meaningful long lasting relationships. But despite all of this, I am still trying to make friends with people who understand my various life situations and keep my head held high.
I have goals of being known for my writing, art, and music which are slowly coming to pass with each passing year. So I stay focused on the things that are important and try to ignore everything else. And as the title of this post implies, I keep looking forward to six years of good luck to make up for a lot of the bad stuff I've gone through. I want to use my life experiences to help other people who might be going through the same kinds of things any way that I can. So I'm working hard to accomplish all of my creative goals.

My advice: Stay away from black cats, don't walk under ladders, and... I dunno, something about salt over your shoulder. I always forget if that's something to do or not to do.
Well I can see where you have some problems and tip my hat towards you in respect, and when it comes to luck my friends have seen the kind of luck I have and they say its ungodly and has been beating near death with a case of bipolar disorder. Best example: I could find a hundred dollar bill on the ground and the second I pick it up get blind sided by a homeless person who will take said bill and run. My suggestion is to tread lightly, and if you want start up a Patron for your art and music, advertise both on youtube and even promote yourself through soundcloud or any other music downloading site. and quick tip to get your name out there faster, see if any of the other musicians in the fandom would be willing to do some collaborative work with you.
3498308 I don't think in my case it is as simple as breaking a mirror. Although that would make a lot of the things in my life easier to deal with. :P I could get ahold of a magic potion that reversed the effects of bad luck. Or something.
Personally I think that when you have a lot to give to the world, you are often isolated from others and given a harder path to follow. This isn't just for me, but for many people who have faced similar hardships. So I am glad that I have had to go through a lot of hard things. It gives me something that I can help other people with who might be going through the same kinds of things. :)

I recently for some things published and my music project is going fairly well although I have taken a break for a while to concentrate more on my writing. I have some fantasy series that I would like to get finished and published by the end of the year. I always like to set the bar high for myself. :P
But I have been thinking of sharing my writing, art, and other creative things on YouTube because I think I would get a larger audience from it than just putting it up on various websites. My only concern is copyright stuff. Like if I read my stories I wouldn't want people to steal it. Which is why I kind of want to get them published first.
I'd also like to start a Patreon for my art and writing but then I wonder if three Patreons would kind of be going overboard? Which is why I've currently stuck with the music Patreon for the time being.
I would say I know where you're coming from and it would be true, but it's also be a cliché. Looks like we both had bad luck. Only difference is mine has been around for over a decade, but only really hit with full force about 9 or so years ago (first year of middle school). That's when it seem like the entire universe decided, "Nope! We've been going easy on your! Feel the burn!" It was at that time that I realized how hard it was to be different AND make friends at the same time, how much your unique talent can go unappreciated, and how much the world wants you to conform to its own ways and ignore your individuality. I'd give a detailed explanation of the many things we have in common, but 1) I don't think it's necessary, 2) I don't like looking like I want pity, 3) I'm too lazy.
To have kept your individual nature the way you have, I'm almost jealous!
3498399 I think that many people in the world have been set apart with challenges so they can become the best people possible. These experiences happen to us in our lives so we can grow from the experiences and overcome any obstacles that are set in our path. But they also happen for the sake of helping to reach out to other people who might be going through the same kinds of things. :)
That being said, if you ever would like to talk about things that are bothering you I am always willing to listen and offer the best advice that I can. I've experienced a lot of things, so I try to help when I can. ^_-
