I was right again [spoilers+analysis] · 6:01pm Oct 25th, 2015
In May 2014, I published a chapter of Minuette in which the main characters visited the rock farm and met Pinkie's family. It seems that, even though I used their old names, the personalities I gave to Pie sisters were spot on:
Inkie/Marble:
I notice a pair of eyes in the dark corridor behind the door of the kitchen. A grey filly – or rather a young mare – is observing us carefully. I guess it’s another of Igneous’ daughters. I wonder if it’s the weird one?
Blinkie/Limestone:
“Hey, Blinks!” Vinyl yells. “Those green ones should go with the blue ones or did I screw something up again?”
Blinkie facehoofs. Okay, I guess half of her attitude comes from the fact that she has to foalsit Vinyl for the whole day.
“Light blue ones with the green ones, dark blue ones with the red ones!” Blinkie yells back. “Your friend wants to talk with you.”
“Which one?”
Blinkie looks at me carefully. “The less retarded one!” she shouts back. I guess I should be flattered.
Not to mention that, given the recent chapter of the sequel, my Limestone is pretty good with shepherd's sling.
Also, while checking out this chapter, I found this little bit:
I wonder what’s for supper. We’re on the rock farm, so… Hmm, do they eat rocks? I hope not. I once ate a rock, when I was completely out of cash and I was too proud to ask my mother for help. It’s amazing what you can eat with mustard. Too bad, ten visits in the toilet later I learned that it’s really hard to digest a rock.
I must admit, the show writers managed to make the show more insane than this fic:
One of these mares will rip your balls out, cook them with onion and force you to eat them. The other somehow has a lime as her cutie mark
To think about it, the fact that I managed to predict the personalities of Pie sisters isn't all that surprising. I was going to put together a detailed analysis, but it seems that someone on derpibooru already did that:
I think Maud and Marble should be switched but generally, we already had a sanguine and melancholic/phlegmatic sister, so it felt kinda natural to add a phlegmatic/melancholic and choleric one to the mix. Especially since Minuette characters also follow that pattern with choleric Minuette, sanguine Vinyl, melancholic Inkie (screw that, I'm not going back to change her name), and Trixie who's actually a mix of a few temperaments (mostly sanguine).

Yeah, I was looking forward to this one since, like Amending Fences, it featured a character I write about (and I'm not sure about Amending Fences: like, I think show Minuette is different, yet I was told they're similar).
I know this is very very old, but her cutiemark is a pun. Lime + Stone = Limestone.
