Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 4 Premiere Review...Delayed. · 5:41pm Oct 25th, 2015

So I was blogging the TMNT season 4 premiere this morning, and then something unfortunate happened.

The power went out halfway through the episode.

EditPad saved most of my review up to that point, but there's no point posting a review of the episode until I get a chance to see the whole episode. So...there'll be a delay in my review of the season premiere.

I will say that the half of the episode I saw, I have mixed opinions of. Quite frankly, I've never cared for the TMNT storylines that took the Turtles off Earth.

EDIT: In a rare move for Nickelodeon, there's actually going to be a repeat of the season premiere tomorrow afternoon. At least, according to my cable guide. If this is the case, then I'll have the full review up tomorrow afternoon.

3495972 I'm sure most people didn't even know it was aired today given Nick's bizarre habit of not bothering to promote it. Like, at all. You'd think they'd promote a show they keep ordering more seasons of. :derpyderp2:

3495975 Eeyup.:facehoof: I did like seeing the episode with the turtles going 15 years into the past.

3495980 Yeah, season 3 had some solid episodes in the back half, even though it started out...iffy. But I've always had mixed feelings about the Triceraton and Fugitoid stuff.

3495996 Eeyup, especially given how that was confusing in the other 2000's series.

I found out about the premiere from sombody's tumbr post. Didn't the last season end not that long ago?

3496153 A few weeks ago, yeah, but the constant hiatuses and delays and schedule slips mean the first half of season 4 is already ready to go. Standard operating procedure for The Spongebob Channel.

3496201 Promotion is never the problem with MLP; random unannounced hiatuses is the problem. Nick, however...

Well, TMNT is getting the Korra treatment. I honestly don't expect season 4 to finish its run on the actual channel. I give it 3-4 eps then it'll go streaming-only, just like what happened with Korra, before finishing its run on Nicktoons.

Just like Korra.

3496286 Don't forget Nick's arbitrary "20 episodes a season" limit on Power Rangers, which is BS...
