Next month, my wonderful wife is going to be participating in an event called the Polar Plunge!
What is it? Well, it's essentially an event where people donate some cash to sponsor her to jump in a freezing cold lake.
... Yeah, I'm not really sure what she was thinking when she signed up for this either.
The proceeds from the event this year are all being donated to the Special Olympics, so if anyone would like to help out by tossing a couple of bucks her way, please visit her donation page!
Mel has promised to make this year's dive one to remember, and has prepared this dramatic pre-enactment to demonstrate what she expects the event to look like:

I salute your wife, we have a Polar Plunge at the beach near my house every year and I just can't stomach doing it. The water's too cold.
