Apologies

Just a quick update...

I'm really sorry I haven't posted a new chapter. Writing has been slow because, well, real life keeps kicking me in the ass. I've been dealing with some family issues and being stressed as fuck for other reasons. And then I got sick...

I have one scene halfway written, and then another two more I plan to write out. The chapter's currently something like 17k words (which means it'll end up around the same 22-25k I try to shoot for) already, and has been spot edited as we go. So once I'm not sick and have the mental capacity to write... it should go quick.

I'm still here, still writing, just... Life keeps kicking me in the teeth.

17k in a month isn't bad at all! Better than my average, at least.

But yeah, as much as I want more of the story, I have no problem waiting. Some things can't (Or shouldn't!) be rushed. I hope things start going better for you, too.

I'm trying my best. I hate the long gaps between chapters that happen now. Just... life wants to kick me in the ass. Woke up today feeling like death warmed over. I'm doing better now than I was. Gonna try and write tonight.
