Sorry there's been no new chapter lately.

The story isn't cancelled or on hiatus or anything; I'm just having a bit of writer's block. I've hit the point where my notes are finished (I never expected to get this far....) and past this point I have bullet points and outline ideas but not hard notes like I did for the first half of the story.

So the rough draft for chapter 25 is finished, I put the capstone at the end the other night. It's currently being edited.

It's also three years since I started this story. The 21st is both my birthday and the birthday of the first chapter being posted over on GDocs. I feel like, at 1 chapter per month, I should be 11 chapters further than I am...

Rewrites and depression suck.

Quick little update:

I'm sorry it's taking so long to write the next chapter. Real life has been kicking my ass. I'm probably stretched a little thin, combining a bigger streaming schedule on twitch (with the addition of several older Fallout games in prep for Fallout 4) and my job... Coupled with the fact that I've been getting headaches fairly regularly...

It's been obliterating my creativity and will to write.

I want a new cover. Given my story is one of those chosen to be submitted to Equestria Daily, I want something a bit more eye-catching. I love the painting Julep gave me as one, but I'd like something that straddles a bit closer to the show style.

I know exactly what I want, I just need an artist. So anyone who has suggestions or is open for commissions. (And not to be a dick but a 'big name' in the fandom is a good thing for suggestions.)

I posted about this elsewhere but got no traction for it, so I'm gonna put it here as something 'official.'

Over my 2+ years (oh lord it's been nearly 3 years.) of writing this story, I've gone through several editors and pre-readers. Some left because well... I'm insufferable to work with, some left over creative differences, others because of disagreements. Some have stayed! Those ones are great, and some of my editors/prereaders have become great friends.
