Hi guys, so here's hoping you saw the new story!
The Sweetie Chronicles: Fracture is a Side Story to The Sweetie Chronicles: Fragments. The reason it's marked as a sequel is because there's no "Side-Story" option to tie them together! Which I'm hoping is fixed sometime, because it caused some confusion.
Anyway, this story is going to be relatively short, all things considered, but will tie nicely with the whole TSC universe. There's plenty of theories out there as to what's going on, but well... you'll have to wait and see!
I'm hoping to update this one bi-weekly, but expect one new chapter per month at least!
I kinda like the cover art, but if I find/make something nicer, I might replace it... as it, but I don't think it's too bad. What'cha think?

I like the cover. It's kinda weird and messed up looking, but I think that's what you were going for?
Edit: It doesn't need the title. That would just get in the way or you'd have to shrink the image. The big, literal fracture gets the point across quite well without a title within the image. Or am I completely missing the point here, and you meant that you forgot to title the blog...
She must be in another world extremely similar to her original one or something. Or it's a dream sequence. There's no way you'd give us the payoff before finishing the buildup.

Well, I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate from Sweetie or Rarity's perspective until I see more, but that's what it might look like to an outside observer when checking on the completion tag. Which says '2014.'
The ending to Transient Pulse is hiding somewhere in the Clockwork Mansion Forum from 2008, hiding between scripts for a chipmunks parody, unless it was purged when/becasue the mods didn't seem to like the idea of me having a separate thread for my comics and my writings in the artist showcase. The names were changed but most of the elements are still there, and I have a back up in a documents folder.
Of course, time constraints meant I didn't get around to start drawing it until 2011. And, by then, the interest was sort of lost. Especially, when you're talking twelve hours a page at minimum even if the comic sucked.

I think the artwork is pretty sweet. The fractured glass nicely represents some of the shattered theme from the story. Especially the family life of Sweetie and Rarity, which has been shattered in very deep ways. At this point, even when Sweetie returns home, life won't be the same. Sweetie will be a completely different character than Rarity knew before. They will probably have to get to know each other all over again. There's no going back, and something will be irreparably lost.
So, aside from looking cool, I think it nicely represents the general concept of your story.
Though I am curious why one of her eyes is yellow...
Explain the nature of this clearly marked side-story then, D.
Saw the new side-story in my feed well before this post, actually. Good to know you're active in more than one way regarding TSC. I wonder what TSC Rarity/Sweetie would feel like if another Sweetie Belle waltzed into their world, though. Could be an awesome little nugget of epic story!

If you do replace the cover art, make Sweetie Belle pay for it to recompense you for the one she broke.
