OC Hunger Games! Introduction/Round #1 · 7:04pm Sep 6th, 2015
Hello, and welcome all to the first annual OC Hunger Games! The tournament where you submit your best OC to fight for the prize! The prizes in question are determined as to what place you land in at the end of the Hunger Games. Third Place will receive an honorable mention in a blog of mine. Second place will receive an honorable mention, and a free portrait of their OC hand drawn by yours truly, and first will receive an honorable mention, a portrait, and a free writing commission written by me that will depict their winning OC in their very own story. The genre of the story will be chosen by the winner of the Hunger Games.
I'm glad to say that the first OC Hunger Games received a good amount of OCs! Which means that there will be more Hunger Games in the future! I just want to say thank you to all who've submitted an OC. Okay, so let the Hunger Games begin!!

And Now, I present, the first Round/Scenario for the OC Hunger Games!
Bar Room Brawl
Scenario #1
OCs will be paired up with another OC based on their skills and abilities. Each OC must fight one another, to the death, or ‘till one OC gives up. The OC creators must write out how their OC will fight off their opponent, a description about their opponents will be sent via PM. Study it. You will then have 24 hours to write out your response to the scenario, and how your character will either win or lose. Send writings via PM. Write it like you’re writing a story, don’t worry about spelling or grammar. Once this blog as been recieved, I will send each of you a summary of your opponents skills and powers.

Don't suppose you could increase the time you're giving us to complete our response. Some people aren't the fastest of writers, me included, and it would be an easier way of making sure everyone can submit a response. Also, I'm not sure as to how much time I'll be able to devote to writing with me being in college and feel that having 24 hours to write a response, but at least 20 of those hours are going to be spent at school and sleeping. If you can't give us anymore time, I'll try my best to respect the limit, but I probably won't have anything done when the time's up. Until next time,

3373595 Well, if your character cannot beat the other OC then by all means, have them defeated. But, I think it'd be best if you wrote your character winning, like the other writer would as well.
Oh I had a lot of fun with this one. I haven't written a fight sequence in ages. Whiteoak19, I apologise in advance for rendering your character a charred mess by the end of the fight (not that Candle escaped unscathed. I had fun playing with the abilities of both characters)
This has been fun so far; my entry for round one's been getting increasingly silly the more I write it. Hell, I might actually reach the 1000 word mark.
I feel like I'll either win this round or fail miserably.
