You know, technically we don't know what happens when a Equestria Girls' human crosses over through the mirror portal. Not yet at any rate. 
Otherwise the 'standard' plot 'human male in Equestria, mare for some reason' sounds like it could be hilarious with the above as a twist.

In all seriousness, I do wish somebody would at least try playing that concept straight. Sounds like it would have some interesting implications and chances for world building.
