Oh, don't worry, he's not coming back, I just thought I'd let you know...
You see, he sent me a lot of tenants. Permanent residents who, get this, hadn't done anything wrong. They wanted to. They were going to. But they didn't, because before they died they were snuffed out by that lunatic who wanted all the evil for himself. So when it came time to make his exit, he was assisted. That was fine with me, they gave up a life in the light so they could do their part in snuffing out. I get a kick out of catharsis, so yeah, I loved watching him get dragged down.
Do you wanna know what happened next?
They kept tearing at him. Every fiber of his being. After a few years the pain caused him to lose his mind. There were a few pretty amising moments where he tried to fight back, but every light he tried to shine was suffocated by even more darkness. Eventually, Seraphim Glare was no more. The only part of him left is the part that can feel agony. And it sits there, alone in the dark, being tortured by those who have made his hell their paradise. Just a tiny, pathetic, ball of what used to be a soul.
.... Admit it, you're a little happy about that!
And you should be! He was a monster! He was a tyrant! Why wouldn't you want to see him suffer? He could only garner one emotion from anypony he came across.
Hate.
You hated him. And that's fine, it's healthy. Hate is the natural end to all things. This universe is a closed system, and in a closed system all things break down into chaos. That means every wall that you put up to block those very natural hate responses is going to be forced down and you're just going to end up doing what evolution programmed you to do. Look out for number one. He may have been deluding himself, but that's exactly what Glare did. You hated him for it, but that's fine. He hated you too. Your best friend hates you. Your parents hate you. Even the one you love hates you.
And here's the kicker... you hate them. And you should. They're in your way.
So why bother trying to fight it? All that's going to happen is that you're going to die tired. This is how it's supposed to go down. Don't hold back. Loosen your tie, loosen whatever you like....

Every time I see the word "Entropy," especially when capitalized like that, I can't help but think it's referring to Discord's mother. I blame the story that first got me into pony fanfiction.

Looks like an interesting villain and a difficult one to defeat. I'm excited!
