    What's happening recently.

So for those of you who've read the epilogue to TOWAT, thank you for reading it to the end. If you haven't gotten into it yet, go and take a look, but there's mother/son incest involved, otherwise, avoid it like the plague if that isn't your cup of tea.

    Apologies

Let's get some worries out of the way:

    1) I'm not dead. I still come on here to read the fics while I'm at work during break and lunch.
    2) I'm not quitting TMS. I vowed I'd get the series done before the end of this year (which is especially special since this is my chinese new year, the rooster, though I'm not sure if that's a good motivator).

Sucky Holiday Updates, a.k.a. Vent Blog.

So yeah ... Christmas kind of blew for me this year, specifically with work. Seriously, fuck retail during the holidays, and I thought working at a grocery store during this time was bad.

Progress Report (3) and Night Blogging (14): Some ranting and stuff on life with the side of random. · 8:07am Sep 2nd, 2015

Let's start off with the progress report:

Unleash the Magic:
Chapter 3 ~ Currently proofread and editing.
Chapter 4 ~ 5% draft completed.

The Model's Secretary:
Current BC ~ 45% completed.
Chapter 41 ~ 5% completed.

Dear Miss Cheerilee:
None.

Chapter 3 for UTM will be published by this Thursday, so be on the lookout for that. Also on Thursday is the Q & A I mentioned in the last blog post. Haven't gotten much questions, so leave some in the comments while you can: otherwise, I might just have to skip this one due to the lack of them and think of something else to celebrate 200+ watchers.

(Next part is long and kind of downish, skip ahead if you don't want to read.)

Now onto the fun part of the night blogging.

Want to vent this out first, but I feel like I wasted quite a chunk of this summer. Not on writing, heavens no. I've been trying to get a job at my local Wal-Mart for the past few months, not focusing on applying other places because of one of my relatives said so, since some of her connections are trying to put in good words for me. I've applied to their place at least 2-3 times now, and the one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way today was because I found out they couldn't find my name in the system and can't get me an interview was because of a freakin' personal assessment test, a.k.a. "personality exam." I've actually had this happened the first time applied, and when I brought up to my grandma, she thought that was ridiculous. Now that the proof was in the pudding thanks to the source, not only do I feel like I was cheated of my whole summer, but I'll still be working at the grocery store I'm trying to get out of for probably the next couple of months.

And who the heck even decides to hire someone because of a freakin' personality test? I've even been told lots of people who've applied at Wal-Mart haven't passed that test either. It especially doesn't make sense when someone's just starting out on jobs with no experience, and they somehow expect employees fitted for the team like they had a lifetime of it under their belt. People don't gain those skills the moment they start working, they have to trained for that kind of thing and put it into practice. If businesses are going to rely on these 'tests' to seek out good employees, they'd be missing out on some good potential people once they know their way around.

And I know, you might say "WAL-MART IS THE DEVIL'S SPAWN OF SHOPPING CENTERS AND DESTROYING EVERY BUSINESSES AROUND THEM! WHY ARE YOU JOINING THEM?!" Well despite what I've heard from the general public, not only do they give good employee benefits (better than my grocery store's, let me tell you that much), but I could actually train in their pharmacy department to earn my certified technician's license instead of going to school (don't know if I'll need to do both, but Wal-Mart's pharmacy seems to be a good place for it should I need to). I'll look into it a little more, but I just want to say that judging good employee skills and whatnot through a personality exam is just a load of bullshit. Don't care how often that's going around in other businesses, that's just going to hurt the job market more than they're hoping for.

Okay, NOW we'll get to the fun stuff.

For those who haven't known me long enough, you should know that I'm pretty much an otaku, maybe a casual one that doesn't own any merchandise and whatnot, but I do watch a lot of anime. You may even see how it influences my stories if you look close enough. There are times when a song or two from a popular series can get into my head for good reasons and makes me want to download it.

This is one such example:

The anime itself is also an awesome series. The main protagonist might be on my top list of favorite ones of all time (and yes, I'm talking about the monstrous looking dude holding the baby), the plot's hilarious with some other entertaining characters, and there's a good amount of action on the side as well. If you're into the supernatural, likes fights, and just basically anything weird that makes you go WTF, I'd give this a shot.

In other news, a recent picture I stumbled across is urging me to draw something similar and others for reasons (that anime and ponies have also influenced me to draw, I might add). I'd put the link in here if the admins didn't ban NSFW content, but I'll leave you with a few hints: Fleur, bunny, and breasts. As for what I want to draw, probably an anthro pony version of that, her and Shining in swimsuits while it's still summer here and some place else, and of course the cover art for UTM. I have an idea on what to do for the cover, but the amount of work I'd need to put in it is just downright killer on the mood. Will I do it soon? I don't know. I might have to take a break from writing and basically binge draw until my arms fall off. Hey, that might be what I could do for substitute if the Q & A doesn't work out.

Anyway, that's all I got for now. Be on the lookout for the new UTM, and thanks for all your support. Until next time,

This is Dudeler, signing off.

well,
as one otaku to another... beelzebub is a great anime
oga and beel combo creates a lot of fun times but personaly i'm a fan of Hilda.
what other current animes do you watch btw?

as for work,
don't know how stuff works in the usa, strange stuff...
i just passed my 3 year mark in my current job (one of...) as a salesperson/technician in a local cellphone shop... hate it but its work, some good days, some bad days, depending on the people who come in (anyone who works with people know what i mean)

as for fics... can't wait to get the drafts for next chapters
had some hold backs due to getting a snake (yes... i now own a carpet python) and having to find him food (who knew mice are so hard to buy in a shit hole city like mine) and going double shifts at work as the other person it out for a week... didn't even have time to blog my latest con info and stuff

ended up venting on your venting blog

3365269 I'm watching a bunch of other anime right now. I just finished with Parasyte: the maxim two days ago, I still need to finish the rest of beelzebub, I'm keeping up with monster musume, yahari watashi wa (not sure if I got that correctly), my love story, ultimate otaku teacher, himouto, shimoneta, and akame ga kill.

Yeah, jobs are getting harder to come by in the U.S., or at least in the city I'm in. I just passed the benchmark of working 4 years in the same store, before and after the ownership changed,

I should have sent you a draft for chapter 3 to UTM. If you haven't gotten it yet, I'll send the link again. I'll probably make the required edits once I get home later tonight.

But yeah, don't worry about the venting. Everyone's gotta do it once in a while.

Parasyte: the maxim = read the manga, better
beelzebub = epic, you should finish it
monster musume = who is you wifu? ( all HAIL rachnera)
yahari watashi wa = not on my list
my love story = not sure
ultimate otaku teacher = somehow not my cup of tea
shimoneta = the man who mad this is brilliant, SOX!!!
akame ga kill = another epic one

i would recommend from this season : OverLord, Gangsta, Durarara (CELTY!!!) ang GATE (the manga is so epic...)

as for ch3, going over 2 right now to refresh myself

3365319 I've heard of Overlord and Gangsta, not GATE, and I'm kind of waiting for the dubbed version of Durarara to be released (I've just gotten used to the voice acting enough to change it now).

As for Monster Musume waifu... Out of the main cast, I'd probably pick Rachnera too, but out of all the girls shown, definitely the cyclops sniper (Monoka I think she was named?). She's just too freakin' adorbs. XD

3366070 you heretic!!! dub?!?! how do you live with yourself?
gate manga= http://mangafox.me/manga/gate_jietai_kare_no_chi_nite_kaku_tatakeri/
gate anime= http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10982

well, Manako (the cyclops) is cute with her big eye, but we go for MON i prefer Tionishia the ogre

3366083 I watch a little of both. Sometimes I don't really care unless I come across one that's REALLY bad. Like Karin. Whatever you do, don't even watch the dub of that.

And I can probably see why'd you pick Tionisha.

3366740 still, from my view... dub is heresy, original VA is always better

And I can probably see why'd you pick Tionisha.
