Ahhhh! Writing dump! · 3:33pm Aug 28th, 2015
Holy crap! I am excited. I'm finally at the point with this story where the climax is hitting its stride, and it is time for the fun to begin. I wrote something like 3000 words yesterday, which for those of you that don't know me, that is a staggering amount given my schedule and job. The thrill is really stemming from writing Conrad's parts. He is - for all intents and purposes - a delicious, ego-maniacal psychopath. Every time I go off into one of his monologues, I end up running around my house screaming his lines like a crazy person. :P My poor f'n neighbors must be confused out of their minds! Anyhoo, the good news in all of this is that Installment 22 is almost ready for publication. I'm expecting to click the magic button sometime today - an event that will undoubtedly please Sober. x3
Thanks for reading, and have a fantastic weekend!
You know you're doing something right, writing-wise, when your characters literally jump off the page/screen and begin to manifest through the author himself.
Ahhh, it was so damn amusing. Conny is such an arrogant twit, so it's hard not to. I just turn on arrogant physicist mode and downtalk everything I come across. Add in some flashy hand gestures, and you have got yourself a scene.
I love that feeling when you're all set to publish a chapter, 'tis a good feeling of accomplishment indeed! And buddy, believe me, I know all about acting out scenes you got in mind; when I'm brainstorming future scenes for the Batmare universe, I often just pop in my headphones, turn on my Ipod, and start picturing some epic fights that are FAR away, but very fun to picture nonetheless.
