BABScon is doing a volunteer meet-up today. Fool that I am, I'm attending; I'd like to be able to run tabletop games there and help out in the gaming room, including this Apoc World hack I'm doing that may be of interest to the target audience of MLP. The actual target audience, I mean, not us college-age johnny-come-lately's - I'm trying to do a kid's RPG, specifically a girl's adventure RPG, is what I'm saying.
Stop looking at me funny. Apocalypse Engine is very simple, with no complex math, and the baked-in relationship mechanics can be changed to 'when your friend does this noble thing, gain History with that friend.' Just because the original game to use it is darker than Sombra wearing eyeshadow and drinking absynthe at a Muse concert held in Stable 02 doesn't mean that's a feature of the Apocalypse Engine.
Anyway. I'm working on Chapter 10 of A World, Reflected: I don't think that it'll be a spoiler to say it will properly introduce The Pank One, but there WILL be some surprises along the way.
I'm also working on an idea by way of a Tumblr post by the illustrious howdoponieswork, which I'm going to call the Sugarverse until I come up with a better name for it. No, not a sweeter and lighter take on the world; a 'developed for television by Rebecca Sugar' version of it, with looooong character arcs and subtle foreshadowing. Also lots of BEST FRIENDS being BEST FRIENDS, but in a TV-Y kind of way.
Finally. If I were to do faux-Uncharted Realms entries for my MLP inspired fan block Twilight of the Fourth Age- Hypothetically speaking, anyway - Who would be interested? I started developing it for the Even More Dangerous Game as a riff on FO:E - the post-apocalypse, only it resulted in Greyhawk instead of Fallout, basically.
I'm definitely interested in some Untrotted Realms posts. And pretty much everything else you mentioned.
