So, I've been rather quiet the past few months. Some of you have probably noticed, considering that previously I've managed to release at least one story per month. Well, there's an explanation for it.
I've been quiet about my involvement, but many of those who follow me are likely familiar with the Saddle Up! art pack, organized and promoted by the artist Braeburned. The original Saddle Up! was a pack of gay pony porn, released in June of last year to much fanfare.
The second pack, Creature Comforts, has been underway for some months now, and has been expanded to include a number of writers along with a fresh theme (non-pony creatures of the MLP-verse). From what I've seen, most of the content in the pack is inter-species. I can say as much that it has Ahuizotl, gryphons, Steven Magnet, Spike, Discord, changelings, diamond dogs, and more. It also has plenty of stallions, including Shining Armor, Trenderhoof, Big Macintosh, Derring Do (R63 Daring), various other R63'd characters, and background ponies such as Ahuizotl's tribal followers.
Even if the non-pony creatures of the series aren't your thing, I would still suggest you give the pack a chance. They're not my thing either, but I've been very impressed by what I've seen. Besides, there's still plenty of horses.
And no, my account hasn't been hacked by a marketing department. I've been silent lately because most of my attention has been devoted to writing my own contribution, proofreading other stories in the pack, and doing editing work for comics and the like. It's been busy all across the board, but it's almost over.
The pack goes live tonight. For those of you who are not familiar, the pack comes in two forms. The Basic version is free, and despite the name it contains the vast majority of all content in the pack. Stories, image series, and comics are the name of the game.
The Deluxe edition requires a $5 donation to the artists and writers of the pack. It contains mostly pinups, additional comic pages, and companion stories/images for content in the Basic pack.
On the off-chance that thought is causing anyone to start forming an angry mob, I will go ahead and mention that the bonus content will also be released at an unspecified time in the future for free. If you can't donate and are too impatient, you could also wait about an hour because the pack will most likely be pirated immediately.
Now, as for my involvement? I have contributed my longest one-shot to date (which will be in the Basic pack), a short bonus chapter for that story (deluxe pack), and a first-person companion story involving a changeling and two stallions based on the image series by the artist Vulapa (also deluxe).
All of this will be released in the deluxe edition of the pack itself, while the first (and primary) chapter will be released additionally in the Basic pack and on Fimfiction tonight.
All that out of the way, I will leave you with the cover art to my story, done for me by the artist Vulapa.
EDIT: Change of plans, folks. The pack is having trouble getting released on time, so the Fimfiction release will have to be delayed until tomorrow night. However, it should still be available to read from the pack itself within a few hours.
Oooh! I've been waiting for that pack! I'll definitely donate to get the deluxe pack!
I'll also make sure that the paid content stays off derpibooru, since I'm a mod there.

I heard here and there that Brae was interested in adding writers. The idea came up in a stream and he mentioned to contact him if I was interested.
I brought in a couple other writers after that. If I'd read your clopfic before the cutoff date, you would have been one of them.
Looks like I have something to look forward to later today. This is going to be interesting to see. I'm going to get the deluxe because I liked what I got in the first one. Also good to hear from you again.
