Thank you all for your kind words. I'm OK, and haven't been hurt. I broke the computer really bad this time, but Tom bought a new part and fixed it. I'm so sorry for worrying you all. I donated today, so I'm really out of it right now, but I'll answer all your questions tomorrow.

What happened was: I fell asleep with the laptop on my stomach, as I sometimes do. In my sleep, I rolled over onto it, while it was still on. When I woke up, I had complete broken the charging plug, and the laptop was off. In addition, when Tom opened it up, we found that the glue he had used to fix the busted port had remelted, and cooled all over the MOBO, and ruined the fan. One of the wires in the charging port had had part of its insulation melted off. Tom cleaned off the glue, found a replacement port (which he re-glued in), fan, and charger, then put the computer back together.

Oh, and I fixed my spelling from when I was rambling after I had donated yesterday.
