How I view certain terms, or: Max's glossary. · 5:25am Apr 21st, 2016
There has been some confusion about what I mean by certain terms. So, I am creating a glossary of terms as I use them. Because they are how I use and understand them, and I am not the brightest woman in the world, they might be used wrong. If you want to, you can correct me (and I don't mind if you do, I encourage it), but I may or may not revise how I use them. I also feel it's important to note (because some people have been confused on this point,) that while all of the terms in section one are friendly and affectionate, they are not inherently sexual.
Section One:
Personal Interaction
* Hug | hug | /həɡ/

* Huzzle | huz·zle | /ˈhəzəl/
1. verb
An action where multiple forelimbs are placed around the target and constricted while simultaneously the head, often nose and/or mouth, are rubbed or pushed gently against the target, typically to express affection coupled with another emotion, typically joy, concern, or fear. (A portmanteau of hug and nuzzle.)

1. verb
To settle or move into a warm, comfortable position.
* Cuddle | cud·dle| /ˈkədl/

* Huggle | hug·gle | /ˈhəɡəl/
1. verb
An action where multiple forelimbs are placed around the target and constricted, while one moves the target to and fro energetically, typically to express affection. (A hypocoristic slang for an action that, as far as I know, doesn't have a defined term.)
2. verb
An action where one settles or moves into a warm, comfortable position, while multiple forelimbs are placed around the target and constricted, typically to express affection. (A portmanteau of hug and snuggle.)
* Glomp | glomp | /glämp,glômp/
1. verb
An action where unexpected by the target one drapes one's forelimbs and/or upper torso on or against the target's upper torso. Often preceded by a running start, and/or flying leap. Implies emotional familiarity with (and affection for) target.
