Sunset Shimmer is cool...

Today I spent 3 hours in class completely ignore everything because I started a one shot for shits and giggles. I actually really like where it is going and should be done with it in anywhere from 2-3 days.

Blocking out the next chapter of AUC as well. That's gonna be a little longer of an update. I have a project due next week and have to teach myself the stuff I zoned out for.

As long as it doesn't have another 1 year haitus, I'm fine with the next chapter taking a little while longer. I've been through three account renames, from Onyx-1998, to Hollow-Point, to Devil Hunter, to Dark Slayer, I've been watching this be written when I found it at only two chapters long. Thank god I did find it, though. One of the best fics I've ever read, hands down. You've nailed this shit down to the molecular level, metaphorically speaking. I'd love to see it end at some point.

Anyways, I'm actually looking forward to your next one-shot, it's been a while since you did anything other than AUC. It'll be interesting to see how you do with something new. But I know you'll get it right.

3223872 Thank you! I will say that I do plan for AUC to end this year. Assuming I can maintain an A or a B in summer school, my hopes were to end it by august-ish. AUC isn't perfect but it holds a special place in my heart. It's something I have made a habit of sticking to. I have given up alot things in life without finishing. I have to finish this because it deserves it, yall deserve it, and because I am hoping that if I take away one thing from this fandom, it will be the motivation to finish other things in my life.

If you noticed earlier on I stopped spamming groups to check out updates for this fic. I did that because it was wrong to be desperate for hundreds of followers and what not when I already have great ones! I see stories where there are hundreds of comments and yet the author barely responds. I enjoy the readers I have now and the conversations that I can have with them. It's a smaller, but stronger connection imo and you along with several other commenters are the people I hope to entertain with this fic. You guys have been with me from the beginning and i'll see you all to the end.

It has been a while and I think this one will be decent. It's going to be a 1st person Sunset fic based on the comic where she first goes through the mirror. I am changing her motivations slightly however, and I am happy with it so far. In fact I am so excited that I am nearly 2/3s done already and I started a few hours ago.
