Well, things have... more or less settled down for me since my last check in. Still not perfect.
As the header says, I'm heading out to Baltimare in a few hours. Hopefully a few days alone will help me get my head back on straight and recharge me.

Hot damn I've been dying for an update to this
I'd suggest smaller more frequent updates. With the way that longer stories on Fimfiction and especially FOE stories go, more than 2 or 3 months without an update and you're going to lose a good number of your readers, because most don't bother with blogs or comments, they don't get anything and they just unfavorite, downvote, and move on because they think the story's dead and you've wasted their time. And wasting a reader's time, especially with a story this long, is worse than writing a bad story. Much worse. It's why I hate Loyal so much despite liking his work.

I have pondered this often, and if I had it to do over, I would most likely do just that. In fact when I write another story, that's likely what I'm going to do. As well as break up what should have been a trilogy. But... I have a bit of a problem (mental most likely lol) in shrinking chapters after having so many long ones. We'll see tho. :)
